What he's doing now!!

Well, 15 months...

Compliment for the week: "Your son is so regular. Its wonderful! I mean, he's really cute and fun too!" He goes potty at the same time every Sunday in the second toddler hour. Never thought a compliment like that would make me smile so much :) Tells you how much life changes when your life revolves around bodily functions!!

Developmental Achievements: Walking backwards, Locating Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth (points to on others/ sniffs and clicks tongue for his own nose and mouth!!) He also realized he can push his outtie bellybutton yesterday... and now pushes it and says "ding ding."

Verbal Skills: We had to count how many words Brighton says now for his appt yesterday and I guess Ive started taking his skills and progress for granted. Because I assumed maybe 10 at the most, but he's actually far beyond that now. Its really amazing to sit back and think about all the things he's learning and has learned over the past couple months! This week he has started saying "thank you" and "juice".... given there might be a vowel or constanant missing here and there, but its clear what he is saying!! He is also starting to put words together in groups of two which is really fun :)

The best part of 15 months is Brighton is genuinely a lover. He gives the best hugs and kisses now, all on his own prompting. There is something so incredibly sweet about when your child comes running over to you to love on you, for no apparent reason at all!! Makes me well up with tears just thinking about it :) Hes also such a helper, wanting to assist in everything from carrying the heaviest items to making dinner to walking Macey. Dont worry, Mommy is trying to encourage the helping and loving as much as possible (foster, foster, foster!!)

So yeah, Im sure hes doing a lot of other things now too which Ive probably forgotten :)

We did finally cut all of our 4 molars (WHOO HOO!!) and yesterday the Dr informed me that the eye teeth will be any day and once they are in... well, then we started the 2nd molars!! Hmmm... Mommy was hoping for a break in it all!!

See our post below for his growth measurements!! Hes a biggun... Love to you all :)
