Last night we decided to have Chick-fil-A for dinner before small group. This is probably the first time Brighton has been in since he started eating table food (8 months ago) and we wanted him to experience having a Kids Meal for the first time :) We are so cheesy!! Anyway, we grabbed the camera and headed out the door. Brighton got his first apple juice sip-up, chicken nuggets and waffle fries... and you know, we were those silly "first timers" attempting to photograph his initial reactions to the American way of life (as if we have lived anywhere other than the US.. haha!) He loved it and it actually was enough for two meals (chicken wise).. Mommy and Daddy couldnt let the fries go to waste :) The funny thing is that 6 months ago I would of told you a hundred times that Brighton will never eat fast food... once ain't gonna hurt him!!
The first bite:
Not long after there was a mouth full...
Brighton's new daily activity is playing on our king size bed :) It didnt take long before he realized that it hurts when you fall off... yeah, I am a tough Mommy!! He now runs to our bed each morning and several times throughout the day... points onto the bed and signs "please" ever so anxiously. So I thought Id capture some moments this morning, hoping to lighten your day with a smile (I know there are lots of heavy burdensome things going on in many of our lives!!) Enjoy our silly monkey and our lazy dog :) This kid just has a way of making your heart smile, even on the rainest of days!! We are truly so richly blessed by the Lord!!
