One: God has totally blown us away (AGAIN!) by His incredible provision.... He far surpassed any expectations that we have or had but that is normal for God!! Isn't that an amazing promise?... that what He has planned is ALWAYS far better than everything we can ever imagine (seems to be the lesson of the season for us!! ) We would like you to meet our newest member of the family who is due to arrive just in time for Bright's second birthday!! Needless to say... John is about to "die" if he does not get to drive it soon!! Grammy and Gramps are enjoying the time of torture :) Its the same year as our Corolla... I have to admit though that the thought of putting a 2 year old inside of it still scares me!! Thanks Grammy & Gramps for all your hard work and dedication.. and of course, your bartering skills :)

Two: Much of last week was consumed with preparing for a dear friend's Bridal Shower in our small group!! It was soo fun and a wonderful opportunity to try to get crafty. To the recommendation of the gal, Jenna, who was throwing the "Advice" Shower... we ventured into making our own bath fizzies (Vanilla Lavender too with homegrown Lavender bits!) Bright's Crayola Bath Color Tablets came in handy too.. and while we expected to make a light purple... they came out a beautiful blue which is actually the wedding color. We did learn however on batch #2.... that there is a specific reason why they tell you to not "over spritz" your batter.... IT EXPLODES... a lovely cold chemical reaction and it takes over like the blob!! Thank you Jenna for sacrificing your warm hands for something so fun :) And it left the kitchen smelling delightful and well cleaned in baking soda, Vitamin C, natural oils and corn starch!! Thank goodness for a long napping child and a patient one at that... because Bright would of had a field day in this mushy glory :) Ps: note the neat ones in the background of the counter shot... we did have more than enough for shower favors!!

Three: Brighton Wade's new activity, amongst many, is lining up absolutely everything. This was one of the first days... as you can tell by his lovely do.... it was the first thing he ran to do when he got out of bed from his nap!! He calls this his choo choo bus truck and while he has been practicing to be less destructive... there is always something completely amusing about the huge crash that HAS to take place after every vehicle is set in line!! Boy, OH BOY!!

Outside of passing around a really nasty summer virus throughout our little family several times (Daddy still has it so pray it doesn't cycle back through please) and within small group and other friends.... we had a very busy weekend filled with birthday parties, bridal showers and dear friends visiting from out of state.
And now its July... 3 weeks till Bright's 2nd birthday.... have I mentioned that our baby is growing up so fast? It is almost surreal... I look at pictures of him this time last year and I am amazed. It doesn't seem that long ago but then he has grown up so much!! WOW!!
Pretty much every weekend in July is filled... and well into August!! Our agenda so far:
The 4th in Panama City, FL
12th & 13th in TN
19th & 20th with family here for Bright's Bday
26th- here in NC but busy weekend full of plans
Aug 2nd- the wedding!!
And there you go :) Plenty to blog... lots on our agenda but more importantly on His agenda...
We will keep you posted!! Please continue praying for our family as the Lord leads and guides us through these times....
More to come!
