Snow, Snow, Snow!!

Well, it finally arrived late yesterday afternoon and did not start to accumulate until after Bright was ready for bed. We did make it outside at the beginning though... and boy, was Brighton excited!! It was the best thing thats happened since Whole Milk for this little man :) When most of us think of snow, we picture a thick blanket on the ground and building snow men... to an 18 month old.. the best part is when it is falling from the sky!! His little heart and hands are perfect for the North Carolina snow fall... we freak out about a dusting here in NC :)

We stayed in our PJs till the snow came... we waited and waited and waited... ALL day!!!

Most of the layers are on...to church we go :)


Bright found a wonderful surprise outside!


Too bad we hadnt mowed the lawn... our long grass prevented us from getting a blanket... but thats ok :)


And this is what we found when we got home from church.. rather beautiful, isn't it?


And you can bet.. we are hoping for some more in a few days.... but we won't keep our PJs on till then this time :)
