Lets see... in the past 2.5 weeks....
Bright had a cold with chapped cheeks
I got a terrible breast infection (you dont know pain till you have one of these beauties along with flu symptoms!!)
Mommy went on antiobiotics (the pain lasted 7 days!)
Raelyn got her 2 month shots and screamed for a couple days and was not herself for almost a week
Bright got something that appeared to be excema (sp?) but at first I thought was ringworm.
Bright got something that appeared to be an infection on top of the excema like stuff.
Bright went on antibiotics that makes him thirstier and increase chances of getting sunburn.
Bright hates cleaning his wounds and does not like the taste of the medicine.
Bright's something is spreading all over his body but no one knows what it is (cheeks, ear, shoulder, tummy and legs.)
Thank goodness it doesnt appear contagious!!
We were referred to a Pediatric Dermatologist at Vanderbilt who couldnt see us till July 21st... SERIOUSLY!! So we started making connections through friends here. A few phone calls and a lot of mommy tears later.... we are now seeing the P.D. nurse practitioner on June 1st at 1240p in Nashville (2.5 hr drive.) Please pray that we will get a diagnoses quickly and that we can conquer this beast.

This Week

Good news is...
Raelyn has started going 11 hrs between her 8pmish feeding to 7amish feeding :) That has made things easier.
Bright's been doing great at potty training... almost mastered :)

So I had all these, "Oh Becca, I'm so sorry..." thoughts...and then the last pic - Keaton has the same shirt! lol
But, seriously! I am praying for your sweet family! It really does look like eczema on steroids or something! Whew! Poor guy!
And I hope you love the people at Vanderbilt! My room mate from MTSU is there now, not SURE where, but I've heard amazing, awesome things about it there!
Also - how are YOU doing? Did the infection clear up? Was it determined to be mastitis?
Hey There. My kids battle eczema as well. Cal has outgrown it pretty well unless a fever hits or something irritates him. Laney battles it. The pictures of Bright's cheeks looks like it to me, minus the sore. I hate that for you. DId they try a steroid cream? That is the only thing that will clear their's up. I'll say a prayer for you. Skin rashes seem to baffle the best doctors. BUt I believe God can touch him!
Love YOU!!!!
