It appears by the terrible rash that now covers most of his abdomen, arms and legs.. that Bright is allergic to the antibiotic that they put him on for the infection. He is an itchy sad mess today. Im sure that if the reason we were on the medicine in the first place wasnt a skin issue, I would of recognized the rash being a reaction since it started showing slowly since Sunday. However, not the case. Thank goodness for Oatmeal baths and a quick doctors call. We start a new medicine tomorrow and have Children's Benedryl (sp?) in tow.
Lets pray its just a reaction... and that it starts subsiding back to the initial issue (instead of skin issue, infection and reaction on top of it.)
