The big TRANSITION, Stitches and Baby Progress

Bright transitioned to his big boy bed this week... and has done a wonderful job!! We've had no issues so far with him climbing out without permission or getting into things :) It is VERY tall... but that makes it all the more fun for him I guess!!

And we had our first trip to the ER for stitches... we've had our bloody massacres in the past, dont get me wrong. But we've always ridden the fence on whether or not to get stitches. This time we had NO choice... and they did a wonderful job sewing him up neatly compared to what it looked like prior to our visit. Bright was dancing in the living room, got dizzy from spinning and attempted to walk.... ended up face planting into our glass coffee table. I honestly think that no matter what he hit, just the location on his face would of left us with same boo boo!!

Us in the ER after being restrained, shot with a huge needle and stitched (note: my smile because my contractions had finally stopped... it was close there for a few minutes!!)

We all deserved DQ ice cream after that event!!

And heres our up close and personals from todays first cleaning of the wound...

Had our 35 week check up yesterday... we are certainly softening and getting ready. Her heart rate has dropped from 150 to 128 as she is working her way head down!! We are officially on the books for March 19th with a cesarean section first thing that morning (they will not let us attempt VBAC with my condition and MUCH higher chances of rupturing).... but the OB's words yesterday, was he laughed and said we would be "VERY LUCKY" if we made it that far with the way my body is progressing this early. So if we go into labor in the next 10 days, they will do their best to slow it down and stop it... after 10 days, we are a go!! God's timing is perfect. No matter what, we will be holding our little lady in 28 days or less!! Needless to say, we have some packing, preparing and washing to do :)

Please be in prayer as tonight we start our first of three sessions in our PURE series with the youth and college. God has faithfully provided discussion group leaders and has led us faithfully as we have prepared our curriculum. We are super excited to see all that God has instore and we know He has been preparing the hearts of the kids and the parents alike!!

Sunday night we had about 30 youth/college kids over for a fellowship night at our house. We had a blast... were introduced to a dance called the Stanky Leg (you should see Johns moves now... ha!) and we introduced some folks to the world of Farkle. John was thrilled to finally have the basement in order and have his "game" room set up (note: 1/4 of it is my crafts!)
