Well, today..... Week 33. Crazy, eh? We had our second bi-weekly appointment which went very well. Baby girl is growing and growing and growing... and the contractions are getting more and more and more. She is approximately between 17-19 inches long and about 4.5 lbs. She has reached the wonderful milestone of developing her own immune system (along with antibodies from me.) She is much busier during the day now so we are praying that little schedule will continue (unlike Bright who was busy at night and continued to do so until way after he was born!) Mommy actually lost weight this past week (which they said is ok.. don't panic.) Protein count is still normal, no severe swelling and blood pressure still down... such a blessing because at this point in the last pregnancy we were really struggling with those!!
As of right now, our fab OB here in Savannah said that we will probably be scheduled for a Thursday, March 19th csection and hopefully first thing in the morning. That will put us one day later than when God planned for Bright to arrive and will give us all (Bright, she and myself) all birthdays on the 19th. So unless God makes her debut even earlier than 38.6 weeks.... we will be holding her in our arms in about 43 days!! Dang, thats soon :) I am very thankful for the dr's concern as to my condition (1/2 uterus and higher chance of rupturing!!) He seems much more thorough than our last prenatal experiences with Bright.
We go back for our next visit on Feb 17th... get checked for Strep again (I was positive with Bright but there's a chance I may not be this time... hope so!) and we will check for dilation, progression, etc.
Her nursery is coming along beautifully... definitely coming together and realizing more and more how abundantly blessed we are!! God's provision is always amazing!! We hope to post some pictures of her nursery after Grandma and Granddaddy Sellers come to visit in a few weeks... they are bringing the precious canvases that my girlfriend Nathalie painted for our little girl!! And once we have those, we can start getting everything up on the walls. And no, I haven't started washing yet... but probably should soon!!
We will keep you posted!!

Oh and as for an update on Brighton Wade...
**he is officially a professional climber (out of the crib anyway!) So far he is obeying and staying in... now simply because I typed that we will have to begin disciplining for it. Ha!! We have ordered his big boy bed (a double) which is set to arrive the week after Valentine's day.
**his new sayings that have totally made us laugh: "Daddy is hot!" and "I have a present in my pants!!"
**his potty training is actually going exceptionally well and totally on his timing. he has poo poo'd on the potty almost every day (except for Sunday when he had some runs from eating too much sugar and drinking too much juice at the Super Bowl Party.) He only wet his diaper once yesterday (1 diaper) and made it through last night without wetting at all (made it to the potty and everything!!) As of nap time this afternoon, all potty has been on the potty :)
**today has been his first day back to his normal cheerful and independent self. he was rather sick last week and had some nasty side effects from the medicine he was on (like hyperactivity... just what every 2.5 year old boy with a nasty cough needs and just what every very pregnant mama needs too!!)
**he is officially obsessed with Little Einsteins from the kids Disney line (we DVR it now.)
**he is continuing to blow us away with his scripture memory... it is amazing!!
**he has also convinced himself that Dr Pepper is Daddy's medicine.. so whenever there's an ailment, Bright runs to the kitchen to see if he can find any :)

Ministry Update:
God has been doing some VERY exciting things since the beginning of the year!!
We had our parental meeting this past Sunday afternoon to release a tentative schedule for the year and to cast a little vision as to the things God has placed on our hearts. We have begun meeting with our Youth Leadership Team which is made up of Juniors and Seniors about every other week. This time has been such an encouragement and blessing to us all. We are currently in the naming process for the Student Ministry and have some really excited options that lay ahead. And we are in the process of organizing the different aspects of the ministry and making some exciting steps in a new direction!! It is so amazing to see God bringing all this forth...
We would certainly covet your prayers as we are approaching and embarking on a new journey in the upcoming weeks. We will be beginning a Sex series called PURE. It will be a 3 week conference starting on Weds nights Feb 18th, Feb 25th and March 4th. We are currently in the process of writing our curriculum for these weeks. I will be teaching the girls and John will teach the guys the first two weeks and then the third week will be a time together where we will share our story and have a time of commitment. Please not only pray for God's guidance and wisdom... but please, please be praying for the hearts of the ones who will be attending these weeks!! Such a dire need in today's society and ever so vital that we are willing to walk along side the next generation!!
There is so much more that I could write... but I promise to give you updates as we make steps in new directions!!
Love to you all!!
