**these pics do it no justice!!**Who would of thought that a simple Jello dish would be so popular? Thank you Kim for the recipe many moons ago :) Alrighty ladies.. get your recipe cards out... because here it is by popular demand :) I have NEVER published this recipe... so please count it a blessing... cause Im usually super selfish when it comes to fun things like this. Thats God working on my heart in trivial ways :)
8 regular sized boxes of Jello
1 Tub of Cool Whip
1 Sm Tub of Sour Cream
Creamy layer of color then clear layer.... add 1 box of jello to 1 cup boiling water in pan. Mix thoroughly. In separate glass bowl or mixing cup, add 2 Tbsp of Cool Whip and 1 Tbsp of sour cream. Next use a 1/3 cup and cup out a 1/3 of hot jello and add to the Cool Whip and Sour Cream. Whisk together. Pour into glass casserole dish. Cover the rest of the jello in the pot with a lid and set it aside. Place the casserole dish (uncovered) in fridge for 30 mins (if fridge runs super cold) otherwise 45 mins for regular. After alloted time and it hardens, put the rest of the jello in the pan on top to make a clear layer. Back in fridge for 30-45 mins....
Then you start the next box!! Over all if you hit it on the dot every 30 mins it will take you 8 hours :) Hence, why I save it for special occasions!!
Enjoy :)
