Sellers' Update

Hello friends!! Apologizes for the void in blogging... life is, well, to say the least, incredibly busy these days :)

Grandma VIcki came to visit for a week... which was wonderful. Lots of time for Mommy and Daddy to sneak away with no worries and to have an extra pair of hands around the house... well, thats a blessing too :) Grandma Sellers got Bright all hooked up with his new dvd's.... he has almost finished his collection of Hermie and Friends (A Bugs Life only Jesus style) and has recently started a new love for BOZ (a green bear who teaches kids about the world God has created around them.) Just recently Bright has started to enjoy programs... we don't have the tv on during the day and we don't have any educational stations with no cable. He also loves Super Why (which we download on iTunes)... its all about reading, spelling, ABC's and problem solving :)

Bright absolutely adores being outside now, even if it is 20 degrees!! He is getting very good at the front steps all by himself and loves playing ball outside!! Its been a touch warmer the past few days so we have had plenty of opportunities to play outside with friends :)

Bright being silly for the camera outside...

He also loves putting on his own hats now and is so proud of himself when we wears them!!

Bright wore his Gator tshirt yesterday from Uncle Eric at Christmas. It reads "Start Em Young Raise Em Right" with a Gator in the middle. All day Bright would point to his gator and say "a-ore"... when you ask where his gator is.... he points right to it, like it is his pet :) Soo cute and of course, he won't do it in public for anything :)

Gator by the grace of God (don't mind his runny nose.. we are battling a cold and teething!!)

He is mastering his technique at "Stiff Man" and still makes us all laugh hysterically as he gets more dramatic each time :)

The wonderful news for today: Bright went "poo poo" on the potty this afternoon all by himself. He is getting very good at going "tee tee" on the potty several times a day and also letting Mommy know when he is "all done." Today he just sat and sat with Mommy asking several times if he was finished but with no response. Suddenly... well, you know what happens next!! He got so excited as he clapped his hands and smiled so big :) We had a" flush em away party" so Bright could wave and say "bye bye" to his poo!! My, how life is changed that I would blog about bodily functions of a toddler... haha... its full on mommyhood now :)

Another great story from tonight.... who needs DNA testing when you have random food favorites. On Mommy's side of the family a traditional dinner was always pork chops, corn, applesauce, etc. So tonight Mommy had made dinner for she and Bright.. and some saved for Daddy when he gets home from making us proud :) Mommy has this non athestetically pleasing habit of cutting her corn off the cob and dosing it with applesauce... we wont say what it looks like but you can imagine. Anyway, it tastes good :) Well, Bright proceeded to spoon out his applesauce out of his container and pour it onto his corn and brown rice... without any prompting or example. The next thing that happened tickled me to death... he gobbled it right up and loved every second of it. Im sure Daddy won't be to pleased to see that Bright and Mommy have the same "weird" food combinations... but it certainly confirms that he is our son... not that there was any ? since he is a spitting image of both of us :)

Alrighty... its time to bid you farewell....

As you remember us in the upcoming days... will you please pray for discernment for our family in reference to what the next steps are in the area of ministry and supporting our family? We know and trust that His plans are perfect... and we are truly excited to see how things pan out :) He's definitely at work in our hearts and lives!!

Love to you all....

Hey Alyson and Kayla love Super Why too. It's on PBS. :) Anyways...I think I am not going to worry about that article I sent you. Just pray that God oversees the whole thing. Having little girls, I always tend to be a little sensitive to all that stuff. I might even worry, which I am learning to just Trust Him and not do so much of it. Anyways...cute new pictures minus the gator one. Cute boy but so unfortunate to have to be in such an awful shirt. :o)
Talk to you later

Of course I'll be praying for guidance and wisdom in future plans! Bright's hair looks longer in the pictures than in person. Applesauce on corn?! I'm with John, that's pretty gross (but I love you anyway).
