Brighton Wade is currently on Day 9 of what "appears" or has "appeared" to be a stomach flu... tests/cultures are currently being taken to eliminate other possibilities... this due to the duration and intensity of this nasty sickness.
We do want to give God the glory in the fact that this little boy of ours has been such a trooper, we think he has handled this far better than we have or could of if we were the sick one(s).
WIll you please pray for his healing and for our endurance in the Lord through this trial?
How we are praising God today with a thankful heart:
*we have been able to maintain his fluids (hydration level and electrolyte levels) even though he looks very sickly/skinny to me!
*God has made him thick/stalky and a lover of drinks for times such as these so his physical body can endure 9 days of this!!
*the practice that we did get last Apr in learning about dehydration and things like this (even though it was awful!!)
*we have a wonderful pediatrician who sits and racks his brain for us and can get us in in the last minute... for the mere fact that we have been able to see him twice in 2 days (thats the hand of God in and of itself.)
*the Lord knew we would be enduring this together before the world was created.. that He knows exactly what is wrong
*the Lord's strength and grace are more than enough to see us through, His provision and protection for our son is far better than anything we could ever provide as humans
Please pray:
*Bright will be healed of this before any stool sample tests can even provide results (48-72 hours after all is collected and turned in!!)
*our broken heart(s) would be mended and that we would continue to fight the good fight doing what is right and best for our son... even if it makes him cry his heart out!!
*wisdom, strength, patience to care and love Bright well (especially when Becca is at home alone.)
