She actually got a bag of dog food (she's been eating Benson's UT Cat food for a few days since we were not able to get out)... Mommy refilled her treat container (which usually only happens when Grammy visits) and instead of cake she ate a Meaty Bone... sadly, it was too hard to cram a candle into so we pretended.
We laid everything out for Macey and even made her a cardboard sign... then Bright and I sang "Happy Birthday" to her :) Bright got the job of handing her the "birthday bone."
It was so cute... Bright knew exactly who we were celebrating and thanking God for today!!
Its the simple and silly things in life that are now justified since we have a child :) Anything to make another day of quasi-quarantine exciting!!
oh and ps- I thought Id attach a pic that John took the other day after he went running. He titled it... Cat Burglar.
Only Macey would put up with such terrorizing.... if she will wear a ski cap over her eyes, you know she's going to be good with kids :) John's terrorized the poor pup since the day we brought her home!!
