Figuring it all out!!

Well, we've decided to jump on the bandwagon with this silly blogging!!
1) Because there are new and exciting things going on every day!!
2) Because we are at a pivotal point here in our journey with the Lord, we'd love a way for yall to know how to pray for us.
3) Brighton is growing and maturing so quickly there is no other way to keep you updated on all the stories!!

So we hope that yall enjoy our blog(s) and we will attempt to be more faithful at this than our other websites!!

Here is a picture of what we found Brighton doing on the porch the other morning. He looks like he is using the potty in Maceys dish of water :)

Three stories from this past week:

Brighton was riding in the shopping cart while my girlfriend Kim and I were picking up some random items. We cut through the candy aisle to get to the school supplies faster when I noticed... Brighton looking wide eyed at all the candy and signing "please" over and over. From the looks of things, someone (not Mommy) has been sneaking him some chocolate treats!! Hmmm!!

Yesterday after church, we went to eat lunch with some of our leftover birthday money. Eating out was John's way of avoiding studying for his midterms this week and his paper on suicide. Anyway, back to the story. As you know if you've been around us at all the last month, Bright's favorite word is "hi!" and not just a quiet "hi" if you don't respond quickly :) Well, at lunch he proceeded to greet every server and every table, even those 5 booths away!! A very cute older, much older, gentleman came by with a big smile and said, "You really need to teach him to not be so shy." And as he stuck out his hand to give Brighton a high five, Brighton turned his head shyly and grinned :) Its all about greeting on his terms, not others!!

We've also seemed to be adopted by a new kitty in the neighborhood... note that we did not adopt he/she. John thinks it is Benson's love child, they do have similar faces and Benson does run away frequently... not quite so possible do to sterlization. He/she comes by every day for a little food and some lovies. Its a very sweet kitty and has adopted our terracota water dish as its food bowl now.

I'm not sure about this yet. It's a great idea, I just don't know how to use it. This is a trial.

It's good to see pictures and hear stories of the three of you. I miss you and we've been feeling somewhat cut off and haven't heard much since Amy's wedding. I know that you are both very busy and we have been praying diligently for you all. Love you. Vicki, MOM, GRANDMA!!

I gather this is not private. I'm a bit slow. Sorry! LOVE YOU ALL THREE. See you soon.
