October 2006 (2.5 Months)

October 2007 (14.5 months)

Sorry it's taken a few days to get back on here!! It was an incredibly busy weekend. Grandma and Grandaddy Sellers (Donnie & Vicki) came to visit on Saturday evening. We had a great start to our visit and they gladly watched Brighton so that we could travel to Louisburg, NC on Sunday evening.
John preached at Corinth Baptist Church, which was an amazing experience for us both. The body there was so encouraging and shocked that it was the first time John had peached at a church. I have to admit, while he stood up in front and brought the Word... it was incredible how God moved and spoke through him. Every time there was an "Amen" from behind me, it was as if the Spirit was speaking straight to my heart and comforting/confirming that we are on the right track. And to think, John thought he was going to spend his life as an engineer... God's plans are so much better then anything we can possibly fathom!! Wow... my heart overflows with how proud of my husband I am. We are blessed beyond measure and really are looking forward to the journey ahead of us in Him. Boy, did this fuel the already flaming fire :)
Donnie & Vicki left yesterday morning to go visit and spend time with the rest of the fam in Virginia Beach. Figures that would be the day that I got sick, Brighton would be teething terribly his back molars and so on :) The Lord refreshed my soul with the reminder of the promise that His grace is more than sufficient to meet my every need!! John actually got off of work early Monday night so he was able to join us to take a meal to some sweet friends that just had their second child last week. Then we ate dinner together, which in itself is a blessing. We went out to get some icecream and spent some time with the Vermilyeas, who leave in a week, before Bright had to get to bed.
Today starts Johns Fall Break so words can not express how excited Bright and I are to see DaDEE at 3pm today, all day Wednesday and at 3pm on Thursday!! Whoo hoo!! God knows what we need and when we need it :) He sustains us!! Grandma and Grandaddy return tomorrow (Weds) for lunch and then visit with us through Saturday. It really is such a joy to see how much our handsome and dear child can fill others hearts with joy. In so many ways, Brighton is such an amazing gift from the Lord... and this is one of them!!
Well, Im needed to read a book now and the phone is ringing and the dog is barking... so my time is up!!
We love you all dearly and speak from a grateful heart to say that we are so thankful for all of your love and support!!
